We thoughtfully raise our puppies with you in mind, focusing on creating structurally appealing and beautiful dogs that possess excellent temperaments, health, and longevity.
Socializing puppies begins at the breeder’s home and extends well beyond their transition to new families. We ask that our puppy families commit to providing our puppies with permanent homes that are safe, nurturing, and enriching.

Here you can meet our AKC Mini American Shepherd mothers. We anticipate adding a couple more in the near future. Please click below to view photos and read all the details about each one. Be sure to check back for updates and future plans, as new puppies will be posted in the Nursery.
MAS Gents
We house two beautiful male MAS dogs that have produced gorgeous puppies for pet, sport, and breed/show homes. Occasionally, we do ship semen to approved breeders. We have recently added a new handsome boy to our pack!

“I’d been looking for a puppy for about 6 months. I’d met plenty and none were perfect. We wanted a smart dog, easy disposition, not too big and also athletic. I so lucked out finding Sheila on the web. We emailed for about a month about her dogs and my desires. Then I managed to get to Arizona to meet some puppies. And, it was love. I brought Buddy home when he was about 10 weeks old. I believe Sheila and her family socialized him perfectly. We are beyond pleased with our experience with Sheila with King’s Miniature American Shepherds! We had been searching for a puppy for over 6 months and when I saw Newt (formerly known as Chewy) I instantly fell in love with him! After reviewing the website, researching King’s MAS online, and viewing their social media accounts, I was extremely excited to contact them. I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures and videos posted on their website, facebook, & instagram. Seeing the atmosphere and environment that the puppy was being raised in was very important to us. Also, as soon as I saw the videos of Newt/Chewy I knew he was the one! We were extremely impressed with King’s MAS and decided to submit an application online. The next business day, I sent a text message to Sheila letting her know how extremely interested I was in Chewy. She told me that he was no longer available. Little did I know, my husband spoke with her before I did and they came up with the idea of surprising me! While I was at work my husband went to meet Sheila and Chewy. He said that he was very impressed with their professional horse ranch and told me how lovely their family was. I absolutely loved the surprise of coming home to the puppy of my dreams!
Sheila went above and beyond any breeder that we have ever encountered! She even gave us a puppy folder that contained his vaccination records, microchip info, health guarantee, and a ton of health certificates! King’s MAS provided copies of the lab reports for our puppy’s eye screening, Hip testing, preliminary elbow dysplasia evaluation, a cardiac report, and health certificates for the parents. The level of professionalism from King’s MAS is absolutely remarkable!
Newt (formerly Chewy) already knew how to sit and shake, and he was already very good at walking on a leash! He was instantly comfortable and gentle with our children and our dog, Neville. We were nervous how our 2 year old Aussie would react to having a new puppy in the house, but they instantly became best friends and are now inseparable! It’s been over a month since we’ve had Newt and we couldn’t be happier! We highly recommend King’s MAS and they will definitely be our ‘furever’ preferred breeder!

Our love for Australian Shepherds started back in 2013 when we welcomed our first Aussie into the family. After losing our beloved dog last spring, we knew we wanted another Australian Shepherd to fill that space in our hearts. A coworker recommended King’s Mini American Shepherds, and from the very first interaction, we were incredibly impressed with the professionalism and care shown by Sheila, the breeder.

One of the unexpected highlights of the process was following the journey of the puppies on Instagram. When it was time to choose our puppy, we were torn between several pups. Sheila went above and beyond by sending us videos and providing detailed feedback on each puppy’s personality and demeanor. Her insights were invaluable in helping us find the perfect match for our family.
When it came time to bring our puppy, Willie, home, Sheila made the process seamless. She coordinated everything to ensure we could meet at the airport, making the entire experience hassle-free and professional. From start to finish, we felt like we were in good hands.
Since bringing Willie home, she has fit in perfectly with our family, including getting along well with our other dog. It wasn’t long before she was joining us on our daily three-mile walks, much to the amazement of others—especially given how quickly she adapted to walking on a leash at such a young age. Her intelligence and temperament are a testament to the excellent breeding at King’s Mini American Shepherds.
The entire process, from the initial contact to bringing Willie home, was enjoyable, smooth, and unforgettable.
